Chimera Creek Ranch Ariana D.O.B: 2/19/2006 Color: Black Fiber: Grey, Type B Ariana has excellent conformation being a nice square goat, with exceptionally straight legs. She has dense winter fleece coverage with partial summer coverage. Her fiber spins up into beautiful, soft, silvery gray yarn. She has a very regal quality about her and is definitely the herd matriarch. She is slightly reserved with those she doesn't know, but a real sweet heart once you win her over. Chimera Creek Madeline D.O.B: 5/9/2006 Color: White Fiber: White, Type B Madeline has wonderful conformation, abundant fleece with full coverage in both winter and summer and nice straight legs. She is one of my smaller girls, but with twice a year full fleece gives me more fiber than some of my bigger does. Madeline is a very sweet girl and likes to be given attention. Madeline's fiber took a First and Fourth Place at OFFF 2007. Chimera Creek Kylee D.O.B: 3/12/2007 Color: Solid Black Fiber: Brown/grey, Type B Kylee is new to our farm this year and she is by far our most friendly goat. In fact I have to keep reminding her that she is a goat and not a dog! Her fiber is coming in a beautiful brown color, but it is difficult to tell whether it is really brown or sun bleached grey at this point. Which ever color it is, it is very soft and abundant. Kylee has very nice conformation with nicely spaced straight legs. She is a very solid goat and I expect great things from her. Hollyhock Hollow Edelweiss D.O.B: 3/20/07 Color: Light Grey Agouti Fiber: White, Type B Edelweiss is also new to our farm this year. She is an extremely sweet girl, very doe-like, gentle and petite. She has very nice conformation. Her fiber is amazingly soft and silky. She is definitely an asset to our herd. Goat Mountain View Farm Abigail D.O.B: 3/2/2006 Color: Medium Caramel Fiber: Light Caramel, Type A/B Abby is a very mellow goat with a beautifully sweet face. She is a nice big girl and very sturdy. She produces wonderful curly fleece and a lot of it. Goat Mountain View Farm Truly B.O.B: 8/27/2006 Color: Dark Caramel Fiber: Light Caramel, Type B/C Truly has an abundance of incredibly soft light caramel fiber with a very low micron count of 14.4! She is a very sweet goat with a big voice who loves to have her forehead scratched. Days after her first birthday Truly took Third Place in the twelve to eighteen mo. old class at OFFF 2007. Not bad for being one of the youngest in the class! Goat Mountain View Farm Rosealee D.O.B: 6/4/2007 Color: Grey with Brown Fiber: Light Grey/Brown, Type B Rosealee is the first doeling born on our farm. She is a real sweetheart with a big personality. She has energy plus, but settles down nicely for a nap in your lap. She is turning out beautifully with very straight legs and an abundance of fiber. Full fiber coverage at three months of age! Rosealee is PCA registered. Weldon's Merry Menagerie's Verity D.O.B: 4/28/2005 Color: Brown Caramel Fiber: Black/brown, Type B Verity has very soft fiber and a lot of it. She seems to pass this trait down to her offspring, Truly, Jed and Rosealee. Verity is a sweet girl who is very selective about her people. She has a great sense of humor. Verity and Ariana really run the herd. They have been carefully selected for luxurious fiber, sound conformation and friendly dispositions. Their fiber has been sent to Yocom-McColl for analysis. If you are interested in purchasing a kid or fiber from one of these does, we would be happy to send you a copy of the report along with a sample of fiber. |
